Alvin Emergency Center is accredited with commendation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) as a result of its demonstrated compliance with the Joint Commission’s nationally recognized health care standards.

Emergency Care - We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our center is staffed by physicians trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support staff. Alvin EMS transports patients to the Alvin Emergency Center based on the “Alvin EMS Guidelines for Patient Transport,” which states that patients presenting non-critical (minor) trauma conditions or stable medical conditions may be transported to the center.

Diagnostic Radiology - A Board Certified Radiologist and highly skilled technicians provide services through our center’s Diagnostic Imaging Department.
