More than 70 volunteers contribute thousands of hours annually in support of the Hospital's constant efforts to provide the best possible care to its patients. Volunteers provide information and guidance to patients and visitors both at the front lobby Information Desk and in the Outpatient Area. Waiting rooms throughout the building are attended by volunteers, who can often help anxious relatives who are awaiting news of their family members who are under going surgery. In addition, volunteers visit patients, sometimes offering a much needed friendly smile, while others distribute books, magazines, and other personal items.

The value of our volunteers can best be described through the words of Hospital CEO Don Shaffett, "The contribution of our volunteers is invaluable, and you can't put a price on that."
